Aloe Plant is very well known in the world. In today's modern world this plant is using much more.



 

Scientific Name of this plant: Aloe Barbadensis Mill

Local Name: Aloe Barbados

This plat is using for beauty, skin care and health products at large scale.

History

The earliest reference to this plant is in a manuscript in museum of Istanbul turkey. Papyrus's writings are evidence uses of this plant in Egyptian civilization, that were written about 1552 B.C. These writings are still kept in German university.

In addition Africa, Arabia, Asia and America, it was found that from ancient times. Marrow of this plant used to cure diseases in these countries.

Climate

This plant can germinate in desert and semi desert areas. Although its favorite area is moderate climate.
 
Its young leaves can store water in huge quantity where the rainfall is very low. stored water can to meet deficiency of water in sunny days. Thorns of this plant save the plant from animals attack.

 

Farming

In cultivation point of view this plant likes sunny places, but it is also contineuing its growth in less sunny places. Due to low heat its dark green leaves become light green. Adjoining land should be moderately dry for Aloe. Abundance of water will damage its growth.


 

Farming method

If you wanna cultivate this plant through seeds then you should cultivate in trays fill with sand in spring season. Plant needs heat from the beginning.
1 to 2 inch large plants set of in the ground where the old fertilizer has been added.

 
If Aloe plant taken care of well then a thin branch appears in mid of plant in winter or spring season. Orange- Red and yellow flowers bloom at the branch.
 

 
Don't watering the plant in winter season for bring more flowers. Its total age is 12 years.
