CN Tower is situated in Toronto a
city of Canada. CN is abbreviation of Canadian national tower.
The basic purpose of its construction
was contact suburbs radio and television. This project was planned in 1968 and
has begun work in 1973. It was inaugurated in 1976. CN Tower included in the world
tallest buildings. Its height is 553.33 meters.
Before its construction the
constructing committee of CN Tower has visited the world highest buildings
particularly French "Eiffel Tower", America's Empire state Building
and Russia's "Arenco Tower".
CN Tower is very attractive place for
domestic and foreign tourists who come here for the purpose of tourism. Especially inspection gallery, that
is called "Sky Pod". It is 447 meter above from ground. It has glass
floor, when you walk on the floor you can see Toronto city under your feet. In
upper portion of a Tower was built a walk station, where the visitors can
preview the city by hanging.
At the height of 351 meter there is a
beautiful "Revolving Hotel".
There is a 6 lifts in this Tower
which has 6 m/s speed. In this way you can reach at the top of the building in
just 58 seconds. According to a cautious survey 1200 people ascend and descend
in the elevator in a hour.
